How to tie a self tie bow tie.

Some people get an interesting surprise when they receive a bow tie which is not tied yet. Some bow ties come pre-tied, some bow ties are self tie. Most frequent bow tie wearers prefer the self tie bow tie.

The pre-tied bow tie is available as:

• a pre tied bow tie with a simple center finish.
• a pre tied bow tie, which is really tied from scratch (at the workshop/ factory) and has a natural look (like a tie-your-own bow tie.

The self-tie bow tie might need a few tries to get it right!

Consider to tie the bow tie in your hands, instead around you neck for the first few tries.

Other tip: Do not last minute get the bow tie "done" as the silk ends might still move a bit, which could result in a slight "off-day" for your bow tie. To have it on for 20 minutes and give it another check, and tweak a bit when needed, is suggested.
